Annie: The Musical

Annie, the beloved musical, features a book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Martin Charnin, based on the Little Orphan Annie comic strip. Meehan's work on the show earned him a Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical in 1977, the same year the production won Best Musical.
